The Journal of Technology, Learning, and Assessment welcomes articles for consideration for publication and gives strong preference to articles that focus on a combination of technology and learning, technology and assessment, or technology, learning and assessment. Articles may focus on theoretical, conceptual or policy issues or may present findings from original research and development. Responses to articles published in the JTLA are also accepted.

The JTLA promotes transparency in research and encourages authors to make research as open, understandable, and clearly replicable as possible while making the research process – including data collection, coding, and analysis – plainly visible to all readers. (more details)

• In order to ensure author anonymity during the manuscript blind-review process, the first page of the submitted manuscript must ONLY contain the TITLE and ABSTRACT, with NO names, acknowledgement footnotes, or any other type of information that may identify authors or their affiliations to the assigned JTLA reviewers.
• Your article must be a Microsoft Word (.doc), .RTF, or .PDF file. Articles submitted in Word or RTF format are automatically converted into a PDF before being posted. If you submit a PDF file, it is your responsibility to ensure it can be read and printed by others. To avoid delays, please embed all fonts and use Adobe's PDF Distiller instead of PDF Writer to ensure that others can view the article exactly as you intended it to be.
